We recognise that families are busy, so we have implemented an Autopay Direct Debit system where your fees will be debited from your nominated financial institution (bank account or credit card). Term fees will be charged 7 days in advance prior to the start of each term.

Uniforms are required for all Dance 2XS classes. We believe in the importance of wearing a uniform as it keeps students focused on learning. 

Dressing in a uniform creates equality, reduces peer pressure and gives students a sense of belonging at our studio. We love that our students wear our uniform with pride.  We have a fully stocked shop at the studio where you can purchase all of your uniform items.

This is up to you! We have no minimum class requirements however we do recommend a minimum of two classes per week for best skill development. The more classes and styles that your child participates in, the more they will improve – we all know practice makes perfect!

All children develop their confidence and ability to follow instructions at different speeds. When put into a new environment they take time to understand what is going on. 

Even those who are normally outgoing may freeze in this new situation or run around excitedly playing. We gently try to bring them back to focus and participate in what the class is doing, but we understand that this will be different for every child and do not place too much emphasis on concentration when it comes to little ones. 

The Dance 2XS online portal is designed to be a self-service system. We know how busy life can be and developed the online portal so you can register a new student or access your Dance 2XS account 24/7 — at a time that is convenient for you! To access the online portal click on ‘Online Portal’ at the top right hand corner of the website

You can complete the following tasks using the online portal:

• Register a new student and enrol in classes 
• Add additional classes to an existing student enrolment
• Notifying of an absence
• Update personal information and contact details
• Make easy online payments
• Set up Ezidebit Autopay

Both studios are shown on large TVs for parents to watch from the waiting area. Generally we do not allow parents to watch inside the classrooms in order to maintain class concentration and focus. 

Exceptions can be made for some first time dancers in our younger classes. Please discuss with your teacher if you wish to watch. 

They sure do! Dance 2XS holds a fun mid year showcase, and an exciting themed end of year concert with costumes in term 4. It is expected that all Dance 2XS students participate in these performances.

1. Building New Skills, Achieving Goals and Teamwork
   Preparing for a concert is a way for students to work on learning choreography,memorisation, new skills, stage direction and much more. The weeks leading up to the concert teach students how to work towards a goal and concert day is a huge reward for  their hard work!
   By working with their class mates on a group performance, students learn the positive aspects of working as a team to create the best end result together. This not only has benefits in class, but also school, future careers and family life.

2. Boosting Confidence
   As parents, we can worry that being on stage for the first time could be overwhelming for our child. In fact it can actually be the opposite!  With our support we often see our students overcoming shyness, fear and anxiety when they perform on stage. Being with friends under the lights of the theatre is so much fun, and being applauded for their efforts at the end of their performance skyrockets self confidence. They carry this new found confidence with them in all aspects of school and life!

3. Creating Memories and having fun!
   Concerts are a wonderful way for students to share what they have been learning, and for family and friends to join in the pride of their achievements. Concert memories are lifelong memories – many proud tears will be shed! Costumes become treasured keepsakes, and  concert photos become the highlights of photo albums and scrapbooks. Our concerts are the highlight of the year for our students.
