Miss Melanie is originally from the UK and relocated to Australia in March 2020. She has been passionate about dance her entire life and, after completing school and college, pursued professional training in Musical Theatre for three years. Over the years, she performed in numerous productions and shows across the UK.

Now in her fifth year of teaching at Dance 2XS, Miss Melanie is excited to be sharing her love for Musical Theatre with all of our incredible students. She is also thrilled to be teaching our higher-level Aerial Silks classes, where she loves watching students progress and develop their skills. In addition, Miss Melanie continues to lead our competition dance team, Firebirds, and takes great pride in seeing them grow into talented dancers year after year.

Outside of teaching, Miss Melanie is passionate about staying fit, enjoying Pilates and Barre classes. She also performed in The Rondo Pantomime in 2022.

In her downtime, Miss Melanie enjoys camping, attending live music events, and embracing the vibrant lifestyle Cairns has to offer.
