Miss Kath is the owner and director of Dance 2XS. She was introduced to the world of dance at the age of 4 and spent every afternoon throughout her childhood either at dance class or running training. She also took on gymnastics, acrobatics and cheerleading which became her main passions.

After leaving school she worked as a professional dancer and acrobat, and then created her own agency which provided dance entertainment for Far North Qld events for 14 years.

Miss Kath is an accredited AASCF Level 3 Cheer Coach and had completed advanced teaching modules with Acrobatic Arts. After years of being a cheerleader herself, she introduced the Mini Squad to our NBL Taipans games and has been coordinating the squad now for 17 years.

In 2001 Miss Kath starting a weekly dance class just for fun for her two children and their friends. Her passion for helping kids believe in themselves and creating fun classes that are positive and inclusive, saw the popularity of her class soar and grow into the incredible studio that Dance 2XS has become over the past 24 years.

Miss Kath loves camping and hiking, and spends her spare time with her family and in her garden at home with her chickens and bees!
